So glad I found your video on this being a common problem leak area with Clack valves. Quick easy and cheap fix for under $30. Part arrived quickly and took less than a minute to install. It's been a few weeks and no leaks. I had tried the place I purchased the water softener, and they had no interest in repairing, just wanted to sell me another softner.

We had a rain collection system installed with our new construction home. The installer offered a filter "service" which was great the first year when we didn't have a clue. Finding the Gary the Water Guy YouTube channel and Water E Store let me know it was simple and considerably less expensive to do it myself. Had I not seen the tutorial video, I wouldn't know anything about the quartz sleeve needing attention and my water quality would have suffered over time. Great packaging for very delicate items coming to Texas from Canada. Highly recommended!
